Job Description

Overview

The Director of Compensation will design and manage all elements of compensation ensuring integration and alignment of pay with overall company goals and objectives. This lead will develop, implement, and evaluate IU Health's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to leaders and other professionals regarding compensation recommendations, strategy, administration, procedures and policies, and communication.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Administration, related field, or equivalent years of experience required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires previous experience, knowledge, understanding in the design, development & administration of compensation programs.
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of compensation programs and philosophies.
  • Requires experience with matrix organization and complex work environment.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Cloud based technologies.
