Job Description

Overview

The Director of Telehealth is responsible for coordinating and implementing the strategy of virtual healthcare services. The Director is responsible for assisting in the planning of IU Health's telehealth footprint, consistent with broader strategic goals, and for driving patient volume through telehealth channels. The leader partners with the Executive Director in strategic planning, business development and implementation of virtual health services. The role coordinates the identification and deployment of new telehealth technologies and supportive strategies, with an emphasis on optimizing customer access and convenience. The incumbent ensures that telehealth strategies and processes are embedded in ongoing operations and support the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

This role will be home based focused with the ability to work remotely 50% of the time while the other 50% will be onsite at Gateway Plaza in downtown Indianapolis, IN.

 Require Bachelors degree in business management or health administration, IT or related field.
• Prefer Masters degree in business management or health administration, IT, or related field.
• Require experience working in program development.
• Require demonstrated ability to understand and operate within regulatory framework.
• Prefer knowledge of telehealth, telemedicine or IS infrastructure.
• Require analytical capabilities, the ability to problem solve to formulate a plan of action.
• Require ability to lead cross-functional work teams.
• Require strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Require strong written and verbal communication skills.
