2-North is a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit that specializes in a variety of patient populations.  These populations include: Gynecology-Oncology, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Cystic Fibrosis, and Sickle Cell Anemia.  Nurses will gain learning, experience, and skills with central lines, drains, physical assessments, and medication administration, including chemotherapy upon certification.  2North values align with the IU Health Values: Team, Compassion, Purpose, and Excellence.  On 2North, every team member is a caregiver. This care doesn't stop with our patients, it also extends to one another and our community through service projects, health initiatives and wellness education.

At University Hospital every team member is a caregiver. This care doesn't stop with our patients, it also extends to one another and our community through service projects, health initiatives and wellness education.
