Overview
The IU Health Government Programs team is looking for a Senior Reimbursement Analyst to join their team! This position supports the system financial team through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and modeling. Supports aspects of monthly and ad hoc reporting and assists in the preparation of pro formas based on historical, comparative, and projection data. Performs analysis to support outcome and impact based decision making. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
The Reimbursement Senior Analyst is a full-time reimbursement position reporting to the Manager of Government Programs and will prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and supporting information in accordance with cost report instructions and pertinent regulations. The Reimbursement Senior Analyst will prepare other documentation and reports related to Medicare and Medicaid reporting and reimbursement, such as Medicaid DSH surveys, analysis of impact to organizational financial position from proposed or actual regulatory changes, revisions to Medicare Wage Index data, and others. The position is involved in the monthly closing process in relation to Medicare and Medicaid payers, so experience with these areas is desirable. The Reimbursement Senior Analyst should have proven analytical ability, be a problem solver, collaborate well in a team environment and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.
