Job Description
Overview
This is a PRN Assistant- Imaging Services position. We are looking for a candidate who is currently enrolled in an Echocardiography Program.
Preps patients for procedures and provides explanation of exams and answers general questions. Assists technologists and/or physicians with diagnostic radiology procedures and related activities. Performs set up and stocking of procedure rooms. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service All other duties as assigned.
• Medical Terminology, preferred.
•Experience in a hospital or medical environment, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.

- High School Diploma/GED.
- Medical Terminology, preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or medical environment, preferred.
