Apply for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with IU Health! The working hours for this role will be M-F approx. 8-5p with on-call rotation and will have onsite and remote opportunities throughout the week! This will be part of the IIS Infrastructure department within the Cybersecurity Operations team.

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for handling Information Security incidents, securing computer systems, managing vulnerabilities in an enterprise healthcare environment, and working independently on Operational Cybersecurity tasks. Other duties include but not limited to provides support on upgrades and acts as a vendor liaison for assigned area under limited supervision. Manages the installation, maintenance, configuration and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Ensures that technology components meet the application performance needs and complies with the organizational strategy of the organization. Standardizes processes and procedures that are derived from working with other technical and application staff within the organization and monitors and controls the performance of the application. Implements system enhancements and resolves day-to-day technical problems with the business systems. Maintains excellent working knowledge of the technology components for products assigned to support and maintains awareness of technical innovations and potential system level improvements. Acts as a mentor to other team member's.

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience required (preferably experience with Security Information and Event Management solutions and Endpoint Protection solutions).
• Requires business process understanding; preferable in the health care environment.
• Requires comprehensive experience in security design tools.
• Requires demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
