Overview
The Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will serve on the senior administrative team, leading the IU Health Human Resources function. The CHRO reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for the system and participates in strategic planning and the attainment of the organization’s goals. This leader is responsible for all policies, procedures, and standards of human resources to ensure quality patient care, effective medical staff relations, fiscal responsibility and an objective system of evaluation. The CHRO is responsible for management of all human resources functions, including Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Relations, Shared Services, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards. This individual must possess strong analytical and relationship building skills and will be expected to develop an agenda for system-wide innovative organizational improvement. This leader will interface with senior leadership and front-line team members, executes organizational development strategy and drives change initiatives across the system to optimize organizational potential and achieve strategic and operational objectives. This incumbent must be a visionary leader who knows how to effectively drive change in a complex and distributed yet system-oriented environment. The CHRO must embody IU Health's mission, embrace its vision, and lead through respect, humility, and intellectual curiosity.
