IU Health East Central Region (ECR) is looking for a dynamic leader to join their team as the Vice President of Human Resources (HR). You will have the opportunity to lead a team of HR subject matter experts to develop and implement the HR strategic goals in ECR in collaboration with the Regional Executive Leadership team and other HR Vice President peers across the system.
This leader will proactively anticipate needs of the region/business unit, setting regional/business unit HR strategy through partnership with regional/business unit leadership. Prioritizing initiatives, overseeing strategies that support the success of the organization, and driving effective results through strategic resource planning and development will be key. The Vice President of HR in East Central Region will lead an HR team that delivers comprehensive HR support to the region/business unit including, employee relations, engagement and retention, performance management, organizational development, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits processes and initiatives. Partnering with the ECR executive leadership team to plan and execute system initiatives such as succession planning, org design, and other various development initiatives across the region/business unit will be critical. This leader will have the opportunity to provide career coaching/career development consultation, while serving as a trusted business partner to senior leadership by addressing strategic needs, as well as high priority, sensitive issues requiring immediate attention.
This leader will have a dual reporting structure to the Chief Human Resources Officer and the President of the East Central Region.

Direct Reports: 2 direct reports, total span of control of 7 team members, and 3 dotted line reports (Talent Acquisition Team Lead, Onboarding Consultant, and Organizational Development Consultant)
Other key relationships: East Central Region Executive Team, Regional HR Vice President Peer Group, Leaders of Centers of Expertise (Learning Institute, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Shared Services, Office for Diversity and Inclusion)
