Overview
The Transformation Director leads and manages Indiana University Health's Lean Process Improvement Transformation by deploying strategic priorities, through recruitment and development of the Transformation team. The leader plans, implements, evaluates, facilitates, and continuously improves the performance of operations at assigned facility(s)/regions through the IU Health operating model. The incumbent uses Lean, change, project and analytical methodologies to work collaboratively with physicians, leadership, finance, departments, and personnel across the facility/regions to facilitate improvements in the design, management, execution and control of facility(s)/regions and in support of IU Health's quality and safety strategic plan, patient experience, and financial goals. The role proactively pursues opportunities for improvement and supports facility(s)/regions in meeting and exceeding target goals. The director is responsible for the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery models to achieve high reliability. The leader Assists the organization with the integration of Lean principles and skill development and acts as facilitator in these efforts. In partnership with system leadership and system Transformation, the incumbent establishes policy and direction for the region, and is accountable within defined scope for the results.
