Job Description

Overview

Responsible for analyzing inventory flow to ensure necessary supplies are available to serve the needs of our patients. Monitors inventory turnover and makes adjustments as necessary to ensure inventory costs are minimized. Identifies trends and reviews throughput to ensure adjustments are made based on business needs. Initiates countermeasures when product disruptions are discovered. Supports and collaborates with facility operations inventory control. Researches trends and generates detailed reports to aid in decision making. Coordinates with our vendor partners to ensure proactive supply monitoring and mitigation strategies are developed and in place. Creates product requisitions for critical supplies. Reviews incoming orders and make forecasting adjustments as needed. Ensures all product attributes are captured and documented. Conducts root cause analysis when unforeseen disruptions occur. Rapidly implements mitigations and makes recommendations for process improvements. Analyzes bulk buy opportunities to ensure cost savings are optimized. Communicates expected get well dates on products, substitutions, and order status.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
  • Requires proven experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Requires strong Microsoft Excel skills.
