Build your career with IU Health.  We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Project Manager to join our Nursing Operations team at our Riley Children’s Hospital. 

Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is one of the top children’s hospitals in America as ranked by U.S. News & World Report 2022 – 23 Best Children’s Hospitals.

The Project Manager Identifies, develops and implements a new team member event plan, as well as enhances current events in order to celebrate team members and their achievements.  Manages event logistics to include organizing, planning and directing day of activities; manages budget of events and provides oversight of vendors as needed. Collaborates with senior leaders across the organization and cross functionally across the system to conceptualize new events. Executes new event initiatives with the purpose of minimizing gaps in team member appreciation and enhancing overall team member experience. Coordinates integration of the international nurse program with various departments/entities, as well as creates welcome events, support activities and provides access to resources to assist with onboarding and welcoming international nurses. Builds and operationalizes support that helps international nurses acclimate to the AAHC and, in turn, engages our existing nursing teams in offering a welcoming and culturally sensitive environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office required.
  • Position requires availability to work events in the evening and on weekends.  Travel may also be required.
  • Event Planning Certificate preferred.
