Apply for a Senior Project Manager- IIS Innovation role with IU Health! The hours will be M-F approx. 8-5p and will be a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days working in the office per week in Indianapolis. This role will be part of the IIS Digital Innovation department/team!

This role will be responsible for leading cross-disciplined teams as we explore, cultivate, evolve, and deliver innovative ideas and solutions to the care delivery system. Manages planning, scheduling, reporting, and decision making for an assortment of business and clinical projects. Assures day-to-day coordination, communications, issue/resolution, and financial management for assigned teams. Manages assigned resources and assignments. Facilitates current and future state business processes, requirements, solutions, development and test management. Other duties as assigned.

In addition to the normal expectations of a Sr. Project Manager, it will be important that successful candidates:

  • Are comfortable with frequent course corrections and rapid rates of change
  • Are self-starters when it comes to educating themselves on new topics and technologies
  • Are energized by automation opportunities and the application of technology to business and clinical workflow challenges
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity

We are looking for candidates with the following required experience:

  • Agile/SCRUM methodology and artifacts
  • Experience directing large, matrixed teams
  • Experience leading projects following a traditional SDLC methodology. Knowledge of the standard phases of the SDLC and roles/responsibilities.
  • Experience negotiating sprint scope, sprint management and development, owner demos and maintaining a backlog of desired features/functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • PMP (Project Management Process) certification is required or requirement to attain within 12 months.
  • Required experience with enterprise PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools.
  • Strong working skills with MS Office tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio etc. is required.
  • Required experience with contractor and vendor management.
  • Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management.
  • Requires an understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
  • Experience in solution scoping, business case development and creation of TCO models is required.
