Job Description

Overview

The incumbents responsibility is to establish a the organization Health system for accessing language interpretation services and coordinating other services for non English speaking patients and their families as well as employees of the organization Health.
 Bachelor Degree with emphasis in Spanish preferred.
• Must be or be willing to be certified in translation.
• Requires knowledge and experience translating Spanish in a medical and psychiatric setting.
• Requires knowledge and cultural understanding of Hispanic/Latino communities.
• Requires a working relationship with the Hispanic/Latino communities and agencies; and knowledge of other ethic communities and agencies.
• Requires high developed interpersonal and strong organizational skills.
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work independently and be motivated to seek new solutions to meet the customer needs.
• Requires ability to develop quality and tracking standards.
• Requires ability to focus on customers needs.
• Requires skills in program planning; training; assessment; and education.
• Requires supervisory skills.
• Requires ability to track and perform multiple tasks.
• Requires knowledge of software applications.
