Job Description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team with the Dialysis clinic with Riley Hospital for Children! 

The RN will provide nursing care and administer dialysis (both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) to children as young as newborn and up to 21 years.  

Our dialysis unit consists of a robust multidisciplinary team including RNs, dialysis technicians, a quality data coordinator, social worker, dietician, nurse navigator, psychologist, nephrologists, as well as teachers to coordinate the patient’s schooling, and strong child life resources. 

We are seeking RNs with a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience. PICU, ICU and/or dialysis experience preferred. 

Apply for a Full time Day Ambulatory Procedural RN opening with Riley Hospital’s Dialysis team! 

Hours: 40 hours per week. 11-hour shifts Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and a 7-hour shift Tuesday OR Thursday. One day a week off (Tuesday or Thursday.)  

Our Dialysis Clinic is open 7am-5pm MWF and 8am-3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Experience: We are seeking RNs with a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience. PICU, ICU and/or dialysis experience preferred. 

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities 

  • Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse. 

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. 

  • Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. 

  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
