Job Description

Overview

The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinical Manager Oversees provision of integrated behavioral health services in assigned area(s) and is responsible for the fiscal management, team member selection, and daily operations. Demonstrates skill and knowledge of various roles and business functions of designated departments. Monitors and operates within the programs defined resources, oversight of program annual budget. Assists with scheduling meetings with the ambulatory care sites and psychiatry consultants.  Provides for the clinical and administrative supervision of all department team members. Maintains overall responsibility for services provided in the program. Works cooperatively with his/her departments across the system and maintains effective working relationships with community partners. Maintains knowledge of department policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of care. Oversees orientation, selection of team members and ongoing training of all departments. Participates in strategic planning for the development of designated departments. Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care and education according to identified needs. Evaluates team member performance and ensures accurate and timely completion of annual performance evaluations. Promotes a safe work environment. Resolves customer complaints in a timely, effective manner. Demonstrates use of logical and appropriate judgment when handling difficult situations. Manages proposals for speaking engagements and grant applications. Spokesperson and main contact for all IBH engagements. 

 Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree in Nursing preferred or requires a Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse or requires a Licensed Social Worker, LCSW strongly preferred. If Licensed Social Worker, LCSW must be obtained within 2 years of hire into the position.
• Certification in Case Management preferred.
• Requires strong clinical assessment; planning; and goal development skills.
• Requires knowledge of Case Management principles and standard practices.
• Requires knowledge of community resources and appropriate venues for care delivery.
• Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Requires a strong clinical background with relevant leadership experience supporting patient care transitions.
