Overview
Do you have outstanding clerical skills and are looking to make a difference with a great company? IU Health has the positon for you! This role provides helpful administrative and technical support to their leaders and teams. Manages schedules/calendars along with department timekeeping, coordinates meetings, orders supplies, processes invoices, pulls data/report as needed, and handles inquires as appropriate. As an Administrative Assistant, you will carry out work with basic mentorship and direction.

Position Summary
This position will support Surgical Oncology - Breast Surgeons with their clinical practices. This will include surgery scheduling: includes pre-op and post op requirements when applicable, gatekeeper for all patient interaction/communication: scheduling clinic appointments, sending new patient packets, insurance approvals and partnering with our prior authorization team, coordinating records and imaging, referral management/scheduling, completion of FMLA, STD, and medical records documents. Billing reconciliation, working appointment reminder reports, along with managing and sending new patient letters and progress notes. Will also include Outlook calendar management for surgeons. Backup coverage required to support other administrative team members/surgeon when applicable.
