We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Manager, LifeLine- ALS/BLS Quality and Education to join our team in our LifeLine department based out of Indianapolis.

The Manager, LifeLine- ALS/BLS Quality and Education will maintain direct oversight and accountability for the delivery of both education and quality assurance across the state-wide organization for our ALS/BLS teams. This person will lead and manage a team of educators serving the LifeLine ALS/BLS teams and ATS Training Specialist. They will develop and lead onboarding programs, clinical education, protocols, credentialing, compliance, and simulation. They will also be responsible for maintaining the state renewal process and liaison with medical direction when applicable for maintaining the state roster. They will serve as a champion for the IU Health Values with an emphasis on developing team engagement and culture while also maintaining a constant focus on the delivery of safe, quality patient care in a just culture environment. 

This position will be Mon-Fri with flexible shifts available. And the leader in this position would have the expectation of flexibility of being on-call as needed.


 RN, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist licensure/certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in a health care related field preferred or equivalent transport experience in lieu of degree.
• Certified Medical Transport Executive (CMTE) strongly encouraged within 3 years of hire.
• Unrestricted Driver's License required.
• Required upon hire: Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
•Requires minimum of 3 years patient transport experience; 5 years relevant clinical experience preferred (RN, Paramedic, EMT or RT).
• Requires knowledge of state and federal regulatory agency guidelines or laws relative to assigned area.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires strong customer service skills.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Requires knowledge of software applications.
• May require extensive travel to various sites two or more times per week to lead initiatives within the department of with partner agencies affiliated with transport.
• Requires ability to communicate collaboratively and effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Requires demonstrated leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations, executing).
