Apply for an IIS Project Coordinator role with IU Health! The hours will be M-F approximately 8-5pm and will be a hybrid role located in Indianapolis with some eventual weekly remote opportunities! This will be part of the IIS PMO department within the PMO shared services team. This will be a full time fully benefited position.

IU Health is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Informatics & Information Services (IIS) Project Coordinator. The IIS Project Coordinator will support the administrative needs of the PM team while learning key skills within the Project Management discipline in preparation to become an effective project manager. The IIS Project Coordinator will manage various small projects and assist stakeholders with each project’s resource allocation plan. The IIS Project Coordinator will also provide direct support to the PMO team in tasks related to project and portfolio management (PPM) tools, including scheduling, reports, and financials. Other duties include by not limited to provides project management support to leaders and team members. Assists with and supports team planning, execution, monitoring progress, and delivering end results. Collaborates across teams to ensure alignment. Assesses situations, gathers appropriate information and input, and makes recommendations to leaders. Ensure quality customer service and professional representation of the team and the department. #LI-SLI

 Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field, Computer Science, Information Technology required
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software and custom software, including phases, activities, roles, deliverables, milestones, checkpoints, and processes.
• 0-3 years of experience is required (preferably with Healthcare industry experience).
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus.
• Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions is required.
• Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, and Teams.
