Be a part of a Comprehensive Highly Skilled Diverse Team at IU Health. We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Manager- LifeLine, Clinical Teams (WCR) to join our team in supporting our LifeLine Program based out of Indianapolis.

The Manager- LifeLine – West Central Region (WCR) holds a formal leadership position within LifeLine. Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Teams, this position has 24/7 responsibility for the execution of specific job duties related to the support of clinical teams assigned to the above-mentioned region, including but not limited to Lafayette and Terre Haute. This position provides direct support and oversight to clinical team members, including Base Supervisors, throughout the assigned area.

The Manager – LifeLine –WCR will maintain ownership and direct accountability for clinical team member development, experience, engagement, recruitment, and retention. This manager will be accountable for fluid communication between the LifeLine leadership team and team members assigned to their region with an emphasis on team engagement and an environment that promotes professional relationships, delivery of safe, quality patient care, and just culture. This leader will serve as the IU Health LifeLine liaison to clinical and EMS partners in their assigned area of operation. This Manager will ensure that safe, cost-effective, quality patient care is achieved through operational excellence, support, and compliance. They will serve as a champion for the IU Health Values and maintain constant focus on both team member and customer experience. 

The leader in this position would have the expectation of flexibility of being on-call as needed.

  • RN, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist licensure/certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a health care related field required or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years patient transport experience required; 5 years relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of State and federal regulatory agency guidelines or laws relative to assigned area required.
  • Extensive travel required to various bases up to four or more times per week.
