Senior Associate Managed Care Contracting

Job Description


Apply for the Senior Associate Managed Care Contracting role with IU Health! The working hours will be M-F approx 8-5pm. This will be a fully remote position! This role will be part of the Network Management department within the Contracting & Reimbursement team.

Establishes and maintains a comprehensive, high-performing network of providers, facilities, and ancillary care organizations. Accomplishes this through evaluation of current network from an adequate coverage perspective, as well as competitive and pricing aspects. With guidance from manager, implements contracting strategies which ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, and high quality care for health plan members. Responsible for all aspects of contracting; initiation to execution. Includes communicating contract terms, coordinating amendments, and resolving contract disputes.

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience required.
  • Contract negotiations experience, Health Plan preferred.
  • Working knowledge of pricing and contracting strategies required.
  • Working knowledge of contracting terminology and basic processes required.
