Apply for a Clinical Informaticist- Intermediate role with IU Health! The hours will be M-F approximately 8a-5p and will be a hybrid role with onsite responsibilities in Indianapolis as well as some remote opportunities throughout the week. Travel may be required to other IU Health locations across the state. This will be part of the IS PMO department within the IS Regional Strategic Projects team!
The Clinical Informaticist position will be part of a regional strategic project team utilizing clinical nursing and process knowledge to participate in the design, validation, and implementation support of integrated technologies of the clinical information system for new IU Health facilities and expansions across the state. This position may lead the development of future state clinical workflows for innovative technologies in conjunction with clinical staff; as well as helping to identify and address workflow gaps to improve efficiencies. This position will work closely with the Clinical IS Project Manager and Program Manager, as well as IS Clinical Application Support teams and facility-based clinicians. This person will coordinate the testing and validation of future system design with the clinical staff within the context of their defined future workflow. During implementation events, this person will be a Clinical IS subject matter expert to the clinical staff for their assigned area for the duration of the event. This position will assist with activation planning for their assigned projects.
