Apply for a Coach- Clinical Informatics Optimization opening with IU Health! The hours will be M-F approximately 8-5p with some occasional exception of support on weekends for go-live projects. This will be a hybrid role located onsite in Bloomington (including multiple ambulatory clinics) with some remote opportunities throughout the week. This will be part of the Clinical Informatics department!

This position will be on the SIP Clinical Informatics team supporting ambulatory clinics in the South Central Region. The position is expected to work closely with Southern Indiana Physicians and SCR leaders and clinicians daily to support the use of Cerner and other applications to enhance workflows as well as collaborate with other IS teams advocate for clinical needs. This position will be expected to support go-lives, implementations, and train end users, including providers, and directly support them 1:1, virtually and classroom settings. The position acts as an analyst, consultant, educator, researcher and advocate for the patients and the clinicians. Requires analytical skills and familiarity with ambulatory workflows. Will serve as a link to information services.

We are looking for candidates who have experience with Cerner Scheduling, CernerPowerchart, Leadership training (i.e. emerging leaders, leading projects), Cerner Implementations, and working 1:1 with providers.

 Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to travel 10-15% within Indiana.
• Ability to work flexible hours (some overnight and weekend hours required).
• 3-5 years relevant clinical, healthcare, or training experience required., Cerner Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.
