Be a part of a Comprehensive Highly Skilled Diverse Team at IU Health. We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Manager- LifeLine, Grounds Operation and Safety to join our team in supporting our LifeLine Program based out of Indianapolis.
The Manager – LifeLine - Ground Operations and Safety holds a formal leadership position within LifeLine. Under the direction of the Statewide Director of Strategy, Business and Operations, this position has 24/7 responsibility for the execution of specific job duties related to the support of LifeLine ground assets outside the realm of fleet maintenance and repair.
This position requires deep understanding of project management, finance management, and operational support to directly related to ground asset operations and safety including but not limited to capital asset planning, design, and management. This position will incorporate oversight of proactive risk mitigation such as programs surrounding driver operator education and driver monitoring programs. This position will ensure adherence to mandatory requirements outlined by governing bodies/licensure agencies in relation to all LifeLine ground assets. This position will make recommendations and adhere to mandatory requirements post driving/equipment accidents and participate in accident review.
The Manager – LifeLine - Ground Operations and Safety will maintain ownership and direct accountability for team member development, experience, engagement, recruitment, and retention. This leader will serve as the IU Health LifeLine liaison to internal and external vendors as well as service partners in their assigned area of operation. The Manager – LifeLine – Ground Operations and Safety will ensure that safe, cost-effective, quality patient care is achieved through operational excellence, support, and compliance. They will serve as a champion for the IU Health Values and maintain constant focus on both team member and customer experience.
On call flexibility is a must. With primary assignment to the Indianapolis based LifeLine headquarters, this position will have opportunities for remote work. Travel is routinely required within areas served by LifeLine with occasional travel outside of Indiana.
