Overview
This position is in a multispecialty musculoskeletal clinic. This is a Monday-Friday position with no weekend or holiday hours.
This individual will be working with multiple physicians in an outpatient clinic under the supervision of the practice manager and physicians. The ATC will perform duties associated with direct patient care in accordance with the organization standards. The ATC will assist the physician with in-office procedures, treatments, casting, patient education, and assuring smooth patient flow.
Patient education will range from explaining next steps in the treatment plan to walking patients through a home exercise program or dispensing DME. This individual may perform computerized physician order entry, only if directed by assigned physician. The ATC participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
This position may perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, and/or telehealth patient care and quality improvement activities.
