Overview

Apply for a PRN Radiology On-Call IT Support role with IU Health! The hours will be fully on-call between 5pm and 8am including 24 hours on the weekends. During the first weeks there will be training during the day between 8a and 5p and then some refreshers throughout the year on a scheduled basis. The total FTE for this role will be 0.45 and will be part of the IU Health Physicians Radiology department within the Imaging Informatics team. This will be fully remote!

This position supports our radiologist users, answering IT questions or helping them navigate a variety of support options overnight and during the weekend. It is part of a team of 4 staff, rotating call. We currently average ~2 calls per week. Other duties include but not limited to configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades hospital information systems hardware and software under general supervision. Administers and maintains security of operating systems. Provides operational support for the organization's information systems, peripheral equipment, and clinical applications. Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware. Solves moderately complex problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•3-5 years of experience required.
• Prefers experience with databases or clinical applications.
• Requires knowledge of multi application and system interdependencies.
