Overview
IU Health Indianapolis has an outstanding opportunity available for a RN Manager- Clinical Neuroscience Services to join our Team at our Methodist Hospital location in the Neuroscience Center.
This RN Manager will be a key leader within the neuroscience service line and will report to the Executive Director, Neuroscience Services.
The Clinical Manager leads programmatic development, outcome quality, and volume growth activities for inpatient surgical spine and craniotomy services at the Adult Academic Health Center (AAHC). Leads the organization of services and systems vital for a multidisciplinary approach to delivering care to neurosurgical patients, and for the operational, logistical, and clinical care quality aspects of the program’s performance improvement activities.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the identification and implementation of clinical protocols and practice guidelines based on current evidence. Collaborates with unit, facility and system-based leaders, physicians, and staff for education, practice, and quality initiatives to ensure neuroscience quality benchmarks are achieved. Leads ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of assigned neuroscience services and functions. Experience with clinical quality data analysis and quality improvement methodologies is a plus.
The ability to lead quality improvement and outcomes management initiatives along with being skilled in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health records, with familiarity in the utilization of quality databases such as Vizient and PowerBI is preferred.
