Apply for a Senior Solution Architect- Integration opening with IU Health! The hours will be M-F approximately 8a-5p and will be a hybrid role located in Indianapolis with some remote opportunities throughout the week. This will be part of the IIS Digital Innovation department!

This position Supports the analysis and redesign of complex clinical processes, risk management, and process improvement methodologies. Supports clinical information technologies and workflow processes within Indiana University Health. Works directly with key stakeholders and executive leadership to identify opportunities for system process improvement. Applies advanced informatics knowledge to support clinician workflow and improve patient outcomes. Leads complex system changes, and coordinates work across multiple teams. Evaluates and develops processes that drive efficient coordination and communication across teams during system development, incident resolution and service request management. #LI-SLI

In addition to the normal expectations of a Sr. Solution Architect, it will be important that successful candidates:

  • Are comfortable with frequent course corrections and rapid rates of change
  • Are self-starters when it comes to educating themselves on new topics and technologies
  • Are energized by automation opportunities and the application of technology to business and clinical workflow challenges
  • Comfortable with ambiguity

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:

  • Knowledge of the inner workings of Cerner Millenium and the different integration modes that are available. Knowledge of pros/cons of each is important.
  • 5+ years integrating applications and technologies in the care delivery space. Knowledge of common integration protocols and patterns is important.
  • Experience researching emerging, innovative technologies and evaluating potential fit within the integration landscape.
  • Experience designing and socializing integration blueprints/designs and leading small teams as needed.

 

 Bachelor's degree required in Information Science; Nursing; Healthcare Administration. Master's preferred.
• 5-7 years of clinical experience required
• Expertise in implementing clinical information systems, electronic medical record technology, and clinical decision support.
• Requires an in-depth understanding of patient care processes and knowledge of cross-discipline healthcare processes and workflow.
