Overview

Come join IU Health as a Manager-Maternal Infant Outreach Regional .  We have an exciting opportunity at our Bedford Hospital location. 

The Manager must work effectively as part of a regional multidisciplinary team that includes the IU Health Bedford, Bloomington and Paoli, outpatient prenatal and postnatal care teams and community resource agencies with a mission to improve maternal and newborn outcomes in the South Central Region (SCR).

Develops, implements, oversees, and monitors the SCR programming that monitors perinatal compliance, removes barriers and provides evidence-based education to expecting mothers in the SCR. Provides outreach and support to SCR IU Health hospitals by expanding regional prenatal and postnatal care programs and instituting a model for continued education for OB emergency preparedness in non-delivering facilities. Partners with the healthcare providers within the SCR to ensure that prenatal and postnatal care is offered and encouraged locally in an effort to meet the needs of expectant mothers. Makes certain that social, financial, nutrition and family health are included in the comprehensive care model for prenatal and postnatal care.

 Bachelor's degree in nursing is required. Master's degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
• Project management/leadership experience is preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Requires experience working in a complex, matrix environment.
