The nurses in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) specialize in providing highly skilled, complex care to surgical oncology patients. SICU nurses also serve ENT, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics and General surgery patients who are critically ill and require ventilation, vasopressors, continuous dialysis, and therapeutic specialty beds.

• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
