Job Description

Overview

Position Summary

This position patrols internal and external company property. Investigates unusual or suspicious situations. Maintains records and logs as assigned. Enforces company procedures and regulations during and after normal work hours. Assists with emergency situations. Possesses a thorough knowledge of company regulations and procedures. Carries a firearm and has attained proficiency in firearm safety and use. A pay differential may be applied for armed security in this classification.

Requirements

 Requires HS grad or GED Equivalent.
• Requires current non-restricted Indiana Driver's License and if armed a valid state of Indiana license to carry a firearm.
• If armed, requires the successful completion of the Firearms Proficiency Test with continuous requalification on a semi-annual basis.
• Must not have a criminal record.
• Must successfully complete training as determined by the Safety and Security Department.
• Requires working knowledge of computers and various software programs.
• Requires two (2) years of Security and/or Law Enforcement related experience.
• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.
