Job Description

Overview

The Associate Chief Quality Officer in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will evaluate the current metrics used to evaluate quality, further refine these metrics and closely monitor results. Establishes standard of care delivery, imbuing each and every team member, whether physician, nursing, management, or ancillary personnel with a commitment to excellence and high performance.  Leads the development, monitoring, reporting and improvement of activities related to order sets, protocols, and pathways that are evidenced based and cost effective. In partnership with the CMO, will be actively engaged in the development of strategies to enhance physician alignment and integration. Establishes, implements, and coordinates effective and efficient management of clinical resources in the delivery of patient care as measured by quality measures and operating performance. Responsibilities includes the regular gathering, organizing and dissemination of information to clinicians.

  • Requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • PHD or MD, DO is required.
  • If an MD or DO candidate; Medical Degree must be from an accredited medical school with excellent post-graduate medical education.
  • Board certification in a pediatric discipline is required.
  • Must be eligible for membership on the medical staff with clinical privileges.
