The Manager of Cardiovascular Clinical Trials establishes and implements a comprehensive, standardized system for clinical trials. Leads growth in the number and efficiency of patient enrollment in clinical trials. Works with clinical trial physicians and staff across sites to ensure successful initiation and to maintain high quality execution of clinical trials. Works with clinical research partners to navigate the complex regulatory environment and relevant industry partnerships to ensure adherence to protocols and minimize risk. Fosters collaborative relationships amongst clinical trial leaders, Center of Excellence leaders, clinical managers, industry partners and supporting agencies.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or another related field with prior clinical trial experience is required.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years experience working in clinical trials.
  • Requires the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Requires the ability to build effective working relationships with the physicians, staff, and partners.
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Requires the ability to organize and manage multiple clinical trials.
  • Requires knowledge and experience of clinical trial budget management.
  • Previous experience in Finance and/or grant budgets is strongly preferred.
  • Requires interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Requires knowledge of state and federal laws relative to the assigned area.
  • Requires proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and clinical trial related software systems.
