IU Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our East Central Region on a newly renovated and combined Oncology Progressive Care Unit. Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients.
Oncology Progressive Care Unit: This 25 bed unit is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care to all patients. On OPC, we utilize a team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of stable progressive care patients, patients with a diagnosis or history of cancer, end of life care, including Inpatient Hospice, and medical level of care. As part of the Inpatient OPC team, you will have the opportunity to become a certified nurse by obtaining your Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN), or Progressive Care Certification (PCCN).
