Job Description
Overview
This individual will be working with multiple physicians in an outpatient clinic under the supervision of the practice manager and physicians. The ATC will perform duties associated with direct patient care in accordance with the organization standards. The ATC will assist the physician with in-office procedures, treatments, casting, patient education, and assuring smooth patient flow. Patient education will range from explaining next steps in the treatment plan to walking patients through a home exercise program or dispensing DME. This individual may perform computerized physician order entry, only if directed by assigned physician.
The ATC participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. This position may perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, and/or telehealth patient care and quality improvement activities.
• Indiana State Athletic Training Licensure or eligible required.
• Must be a Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross Professional Rescuer required.
• Other certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• 0-3 years of experience required.

- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Athletic Training is required.
- Indiana State Athletic Training Licensure or eligible required.
