Job Description

Overview

Apply for a Senior Clinical Analyst with IU Health!  This position is part of the Core Clinical Applications department within Clinical IS on the Cerner Powerplan, Powerchart Oncology, and Medication Integration team. 

The Senior Clinical Analyst supports a suite of clinical systems. Has extensive knowledge of specific clinical systems and workflow processes within Indiana University Health -- a knowledge that crosses patient care venues (inpatient, outpatient, critical care, home health and others). Assists Project Managers and Supervisors in maintaining project schedules, communications, issue resolution and project deliverables. Leads the design and implementation of clinical systems (or changes to existing systems) to ensure integration with clinical practice. Acts like a mentor and be willing to teach as needed. Maintains a high level of interaction with all clinical areas to continually enhance/improve patient care.

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•5-7 years of experience required.
• Requires current license/certification or eligibility (e.g. RN).
• Requires experience in a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing).
• Requires extensive experience with hospital information systems.
• Requires extensive experience with clinical systems or in implementing/supporting clinical systems.
• Requires strong knowledge of multi-application integration and system inter-dependencies.
• Requires strong knowledge of cross discipline healthcare processes and workflows.
