Job Description

Overview

The Director of Growth drives the effort to strategically identify would-be funders and inform the strategy to connect them to the mission of IU Health to make Indiana a healthier state. Candidates with proven experience in identifying opportunity, crafting strategy, and operationalizing in such a way that team members are inspired by the work are encouraged to apply.

Leading prospect development, data and analytics, annual fund and grateful patient functions, the incumbent works in lock-step collaboration with peers in development, communications and donor experience to find synergy and multiply the impact of work across the organization. This leader inspires confidence among team members by combining best practice methodology with creative, resourceful thinking and leads with passion and commitment to enhance health and well-being while inspiring generosity across different regions within the state of Indiana and partners with internal and external stakeholders to drive, cultivate, solicit, and manage relationships with both potential and current donors. Additional responsibilities include focusing on revenue growth and high priority funding areas. The Director of Growth partners with executive and senior leadership to set, manage to and achieve metrics. 


 Bachelor's Degree Required.
• Master's Preferred.
• 7 - 10 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of fundraising software
• i.e. Raiser's Edge.
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment.
