We have an exciting nursing opportunity in our Surgical Progressive Care unit (A5 South) at our magnet-designated Methodist Hospital.

This 24 bed hardwire step down unit primarily focuses on providing care to Neuro-Trauma patients. In addition to Neuro-Trauma patient types, you will work with many other surgical patients covering all systems of the body. This unit serves to help stabilize patients further until ready to transfer to a medical surgical unit or leave the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
