The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic and interventional procedures for the Cardiac Cath Lab, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment with sterile technique. Treats patients with care and respect. Scrub experience required for this role. 

Schedule: 

• Four 10 hour shifts per week  
  • 7:00 am - 5:30 pm 
• On call required 

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Life Support certification required. 
• Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• May be required to obtain advanced credential in interventional radiography, if applicable.
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist.
• Requires knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Experience as a radiologic technologist, preferred.
