The Senior Associate serves as a key member of the Digital Marketing and Experience team, leading search engine optimization (SEO) support of the health system’s digital presence: conducting keyword research, developing strategy and on-page recommendations, completing SEO performance review and competitive analysis, and implementing technical and schema updates. The Senior Associate will also be responsible for improving search marketing capabilities, optimizing patient and consumer engagement, and delivering results against key business objectives for the marketing teams.

KEY ACTIVITIES

· Lead planning, execution, and analysis of SEO programs and campaigns

· Create search marketing plans supporting brand marketing strategies

· Identify trends in keyword topics to help influence content recommendations and information architecture

· Build SEO roadmap based on impact, level of effort, and risk to help increase customer engagement through organic search

· Lead cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices, execute day-to-day tactical website updates, and drive growth by following the SEO roadmap

· Develop SEO A/B tests to ensure changes made for SEO positively impact KPIs

· Identify opportunities for traffic growth through optimization of site architecture, keyword selection, on-page factors, and scalable content

· Stay current on new and emerging SEO opportunities, best practices, industry updates, and search engine developments

· Perform link analysis and make recommendations for link structure and page authority

· Measure SEO performance against annual goals

· Work collaboratively with Digital Marketing and Experience team, agencies, contractors and other IU Health team members

· Assist with other digital marketing tasks and projects, as assigned

Bachelor's Degree required. 
• Degree in Web/New Media, Informatics, Computer Science, Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years of Experience.
• Requires in-depth experience with website design and development including HTML, CSS, standards, usability, analytics, search engine optimization, and related terminology.
• Requires in-depth experience with standard web content management solutions and methodologies.
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred.
