The Specialist Member Services II provides technical, procedural and system education to customers about all aspects of health plan membership including eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and participating providers. Responds to escalated claim inquiries including claim payment and claim denial questions. Utilizes a high level of interpersonal and communications sills to respond to inquiries from customers and to resolve complaints. Deliver excellent customer service by providing prompt, polite and accurate information to all members and providers. Reports trends and resolutions to management for training usage and service quality improvements

Requires a High School Diploma/GED.
• 3-5 years of experience required.
• Requires working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules compliance.
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Healthcare call center or medical office experience preferred.
