Overview

IU Health System Health Solutions is currently looking for an engaged, collaborative leader for our Enteral Nutrition team. This manager will oversee clinical, dietetic-related operations for a statewide population of 6200 patients who receive enteral nutrition at home. There are 16 direct reports who work a hybrid remote schedule. If you are looking for the next step in your career, apply today, we would love to hear from you!

The Clinical Manager Dietetics assists the Director in the management of Clinical Nutrition operations. Develops and implements policies and procedures related to home enteral nutrition. Develops and implements procedures to assist with statewide marketing and referral generation efforts. Oversees a formulary of 260+ products from varying manufacturers in addition to tube feeding supplies and equipment. Oversees formula / supply backorder and substitution processes due to ongoing supply chain and manufacturer recall issues. Prepares budgets and evaluates the cost/benefit of clinical nutrition services. Manages employee engagement, performance management, recognition and talent development. Participates in strategic planning and goal setting, and provides and evaluates data to support evidence-based decision making. Functions as a change agent for continuous improvement utilizing the LEAN model while facilitating team members' adjustment to change.

  • Bachelors degree or higher in dietetics or a related field required. Masters preferred.
  • Certified Dietitian in the State of Indiana is required
  • Registered Dietitian through Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of federal and state regulations related to provision of food and nutrition services.
