Job Description

Overview

The Talent Development Manager partners closely with the Director of Talent Development to design and implement two system-wide Talent Development Programs - Performance and Succession Management.  Strategizes and develops a “pay for performance” culture as well as retention of our best talent.  Partners with key stakeholders to gain strategic input needed for critical program design. Collaborates with Regional HR partners to build a strong implementation plan – program objectives, timelines, communication plans and robust training for both Regional HR, Leadership, and IU Health’s Team Members.  Oversees system configuration/customization to ensure programs are built with a strong “user experience” that drives the right program objectives and business outcomes. Understands talent metrics and reporting to measure and track key talent results.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational/Leadership Development, Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Requires demonstrated expertise in managing talent management programs (e.g., process design, systems configuration, implementation planning and execution, change management, measurement, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands and to influence multiple stakeholder groups. 
  • Experience working in a large highly matrixed business organization is preferred.
  • Requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle and demonstrated experience with reporting and presentation tools.
