We have exciting full-time, day shift nursing opportunity in our IU Health Ball Hospital Cardiac Cath Unit.

The IU Ball Hospital Cath Lab is a program providing patients with access to lifesaving treatments, ground breaking technology and research based medicine. The cardiac cath lab team cares for adult cardiac patients using team work, strong critical thinking and quick interventions. The RN provides hands on care for patients undergoing diagnostic heart caths, interventional cardiac caths and structural heart procedures. In the cath lab, nurses have the opportunity to use their nursing skills and experience to make an immediate impact on our patient's lives.

Schedule: 3, 12-hour shifts per week. No weekends, holidays, or call

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Radiology, Emergency Dept, and/or ICU experience preferred

Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
