Overview

Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Philanthropy Communications Strategist to join the Operations team at our Indianapolis Location . 

Seeking communications professional with experience in philanthropic or nonprofit communications--especially donor and stewardship communications, plus strong writing and editing skills, digital fluency, event and vendor management, and familiarity with graphic design, photography and video. Ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience. Demonstrates passion and commitment to enhance health and well-being while inspiring generosity across the state of Indiana. Work includes donor and prospect solicitations, giving campaigns, routine internal and external communications, giving societies, and events communications including talking points. Partners internally with key stakeholders to create meaningful relationships system-wide. Familiarity with using a donor database is a plus. Candidates will be asked to share a professional portfolio.

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Working knowledge of fundraising software
• i.e. Raiser's Edge.
• Proficiency in MS office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred.
