Overview
The Director of Physician Finance partners with leadership team(s) to lead and direct both the long-range financial planning process and the annual budget process, including both operating and capital planning, and to support operational and financial improvements. This leader will combine strong relationships, strategic analysis, and risk-conscious planning to ensure that the unit's strategy is realized. The position interfaces with both leadership and front-line team members to execute organizational development strategy and drive change initiatives across the unit to optimize potential and achieve strategic and operational objectives. The Director serves as a financial resource to operational leaders of the unit, providing financial reporting and analysis, expense management, operational improvement, and the evaluation of growth opportunities. The incumbent creates executive-level reporting packages to communicate key performance indicators with unit leadership, identifying, evaluating, and implementing countermeasures to improve negative financial performance. The Director performs data analytics and prepares operating benchmarks and dashboards to evaluate and compare performance across relevant units and over time.QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
