Job Description

Overview

Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Administrative Coordinator to join the Executive Administration team at our Riley Hospital with one day remote each week.  

The Administrative Coordinator provides standard administrative and technical support to multiple leaders or senior leadership. Manages schedules/calendars, coordinates meetings and events, prepares travel arrangements, processes invoices and expense reports, and handles inquires, as appropriate, across teams they support. Manages work with limited guidance and direction. Anticipates and proactively addresses administrative and technical issues and challenges as they arise. Assures accuracy and availability of office records, files, resource data, various reports, basic budget oversight, etc. Exercises sound independent judgement, anticipates potential issues and challenges, and recognizes the specific needs of their leader(s).

  • This position requires someone who is highly organized and detail oriented.
  • The ability to handle multiple calendars for assigned executives, as well as coordinate domestic and international travel.
  • Requires the ability to write emails, letters, minutes, and other correspondence on behalf of assigned executives. 
  • Project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Planning meetings, travel, and other events as assigned.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the enthusiasm to contribute positively to the team.
  • Accounting procedures/experience is a plus.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• Requires 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred.
• Requires intermediate proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Requires intermediate experience in receiving, analyzing, and interpreting complex data and information.
