Overview
IU Health is currently looking for an engaged, collaborative leader for our Hematology/Oncology Infusion Clinic, a recognized NCI designated comprehensive cancer center at Methodist Hospital. This practice supports 5 physicians and will have approximately 10 direct reports. The supervisor serves as the team lead over other RN and MA staff within an ambulatory Oncology infusion setting. This position coordinates, assigns and guides the work activities of department team members. This position leads nursing practice oversight, and trains and mentors new staff. Collaborates directly with our Physician partners and delegates and supervises care in the outpatient setting.
This position will work Monday-Friday, no weekends, holidays, or on-call.

The RN- Ambulatory Supervisor reflects the mission, vision, and values of Indiana University Health, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position may provide leadership, management, and oversight of nursing practice, clinical care delivery, and provide personnel management to assigned clinical staff.. This position provides assistance with problem-solving; ensures adequate staffing and material resources are available to support patient care and efficient clinic operations. . The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
