Overview

IU Methodist's A3North is a medical/surgical unit whose focus is the care of patients with cardiovascular diagnoses including; congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). 3North also focuses on the treatment of post interventional cardiovascular surgery patients including; CABG, valve replacement, heart catheterization, and peripheral vascular surgeries such as revascularization and amputations.

This position currently qualifies for a NEW hourly wage differential in addition to standard shift and holiday differentials. More details about this differential will be provided during the interview process.

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

• Requires an Associate's of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
