Job Description

Overview

Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Organizational Development Consultant to join the Learning Institute team at our Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. 

This role reports to the Vice President of Talent Management and will focus on designing and leading efforts that strengthen the performance of IU Health leaders, providers, and team members to consistently achieve desired patient outcomes and advance system priorities and strategies. Develops and refines cultural integration strategies, partners with system and local leadership to implement these strategies, and proactively makes recommendations for how to support organizational effectiveness. Partners and delivers expertise on the IU Health Talent Management Strategy in the areas of performance management, succession planning, assessments and coaching, engagement and culture and leading organizational transformation as needed.  Serves as a regional consultant to respective HR Business Partners and system leaders. 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education Organizational/Leadership Development, Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience is required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Coaching/OD certifications are preferred (e.g. ICF, OD Consultant Certification, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Experiential Learning Certification, Gallup Certified Coach, ADKAR certification).
  • Requires demonstrated expertise in organizational development principles and methodologies (e.g. competency modeling, development planning, leadership assessments, mentoring, coaching, leadership development, team development, and change management).
  • Experience working in a large highly matrixed clinical/business organization is preferred.
  • Requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience with reporting and presentation tools.
