Overview
IU Health Hospice Care provides patients with comprehensive care delivered by a highly trained, interdisciplinary team led by the hospice medical director. IU Health Hospice RNs provide skilled care in the patient’s home setting. This may be a private residence, an assisted living facility, a skilled nursing facility, or a group home. The holistic services that our Hospice professionals offer add to our patients’ overall quality of life.
Hospice RNs participate in a team approach to serving patients and have flexibility and significant autonomy to provide patients with individualized care and to support to patients’ family members. Services provided include pain management, catheter care, wound care, chronic disease management, patient / family education, and compassionate end of life care. The case management aspects of this role offer tremendous satisfaction and reward.

This is a Monday - Friday schedule, working 8-hour shifts with limited on call responsibilities.
IU Health Hospice RNs are eligible to receive a bonus with each pay period based on quality and productivity. If nurses meet quality standards, they can earn an estimated $14,560 per year in addition to base salary.
